The City of Austin apparently sends written snail mail notices to the Neighborhood Association.

However, there is no notice online (that I can find) that includes when and where the hearings are or the actual text of the proposed ordinances. It seems they’re only available after the City Council approves them. The only online info is here. I have a call into the City Planning and Review Department to attempt to address these issues. We had 14 garage sales and several that weren’t officially on the map. It seems we had a huge turnout in the neighborhood. Hopefully everyone’s sales were a success.

The Hazardous Waste Collection was a HUGE success and Mack Andrews drove a full truck out at 11 AM. We’ll see if we need to repeat this again before next year. A big thanks to Susan for hosting the drop off.
