Hey there Walnuts!

I know it’s a bit late in the year, but we are ready to bring back the neighborhood plant exchange! Kernan has graciously offered to host this year, so we’ll be doing our plant exchange from his yard spilling over into the park. (12105 Scribe Dr)

The plant exchange will be held Saturday June 22nd beginning around 9:30 till noon, before it gets too hot.

Bring some plants to trade and exchange. This is a great opportunity to thin out those prolific plants and have the good feeling of knowing that your plants or clipping are going to a great new home. Most importantly it’s an opportunity to get to know your fellow gardening neighbors, and see what is going on in the neighborhood.

Feel free to bring a snack to share if you like, but most importantly, bring some plants to trade!

Please share what surplus you have, and or mention what you are looking for in the comment section below.

(I’m going to just throw it out there that I have have several varieties of succulents, 3 varieties of wandering jews, some heart shaped ice plant, and am looking for some Turks caps, and or plumbagos!) 🙂

On a side note, I’d be happy to fill you in on the progress of our community garden initiative!
… had to throw that quick plug in!

Hope to see you there!
